Record a take

The round red button next to the input records whatever you're hearing. Tap it again to stop. Each take is saved as a 32-bit float WAV file, so loud Drive and Delay feedback peaks are kept in the file instead of being clipped.

The free version stops a take at 60 seconds, and tells you so while you record. With Pro, takes can be any length. If you need more than a minute on the free version, record it in two takes.

Recording is part of the app. As a plug-in, record with your host instead.

Where are my recordings?

They stay on your device, inside the app. Open Recordings in the toolbar to play, rename, share or delete them. Sharing hands the file to the normal iOS share sheet, so you can send it to Files, another app, or off the device — that is the only way anything leaves.

  • Tap ▶ to play a take, and ■ to stop it.
  • Tap a take's name to rename it.
  • Tap ↗ to share it.
  • Tap ✕, then YES, to delete it.
