Shape the tone

Five tabs sit just above the transport. Tap any one to open its controls:

• Pack — the pack picker. See Pick a mood.
• Sound — the lead voice: Rhodes, Pad, Bell or Organ, with attack, decay, sustain and release. An experimental sampler can be switched on in Settings.
• FX — reverb and chorus to set the room, and a delay.
• Bass — Root, Walking, Octave, 5th, 3rd, Arp, or Silent when you want none, with a filter cutoff and a level.
• Drum — Boom Bap, Soft, Jazz, Lofi, Dilla, Halftime, Chill or Broken, with swing and level to taste. Tap the cells of the pattern to edit it; Reset puts it back.

Each tab shows what it is set to right on its face, so you can read the whole kit at a glance.

Start from a pack you like and nudge one thing at a time. Small moves go a long way here.
